Varios asistentes a Festival EDM en Panamá permanecieron aislados en el lugar debido al COVID-19

El festival Tribal Gathering, que originalmente estaba programado para celebrarse del 29 de febrero al 15 de marzo, ha confirmado que varios asistentes al festival deben permanecer en el lugar durante un período prolongado de tiempo.

Aunque el festival afirma que no se han confirmado casos de COVID-19 en el sitio, ni hay casos sospechosos, el Ministro de Salud de Panamá ordenó que todos los connacionales que han ingresado a Panamá en los últimos 14 días permanezcan encerrados.

En una declaración en Instagram, Tribal Gathering escribió: El gobierno y los funcionarios de salud ahora han decidido volver al mandato original de permitir que todos los ciudadanos que han ingresado a Panamá hace más de 14 días salgan de la ubicación. Aquellos que no lo hayan hecho deben permanecer en cuarentena en el sitio hasta que alcancen el período de 14 días, lo que podría significar que las personas se queden aquí más tiempo.

Después de que el Presidente de Panamá declarara una emergencia nacional debido al COVID-19, el Ministro de Salud de Panamá ha dado el paso extraordinario de ordenar a todos los invitados de Tribal Gathering que permanezcan en el lugar hasta el 23 de marzo. Sin embargo, esto no fue en respuesta a una prueba COVID-19 positiva.

TO ALL ATTENDEES AND FOLLOWERS OF TRIBAL GATHERING: Update!!!! The government and health officials have now decided to go back to the original mandate of allowing all nationals who have entered Panama over 14 days ago to exit the location. Those who have not must remain here in quarantine on site until they reach the 14 day period which could mean people actually staying here longer than the 23rd. In the wake of the President of Panama declaring a national emergency due to COVID-19/novel coronavirus, Panama’s Minister of Health has taken the extraordinary step of ordering all Tribal Gathering guests currently on site to remain in place until March 23. However, this was NOT in response to a positive COVID-19 test. There have been ZERO cases of COVID-19 confirmed on site, nor are any suspected at this time. Nevertheless, we are complying with all orders and recommendations of the Minister of Health, as the health and safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority.
